Head of Legal | Real Assets & Digital Infrastructure

We are partnering with a leading investment-backed developer and operator of mission-critical infrastructure assets across the Asia-Pacific region. Due to continued growth and expansion, the business is seeking an experienced Head of Legal to lead legal matters across its regional platform.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will serve as a trusted business partner, providing strategic legal advice on a broad range of complex transactions and commercial matters. This is a highly visible position with significant exposure to investment, development, financing and operational stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all legal matters across the APAC business.
• Advise on acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and strategic investments.
• Support asset development projects, including construction, procurement and commercial contracting.
• Provide legal support on financing transactions and corporate matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial, operational and project-related agreements.
• Manage external counsel across multiple jurisdictions while retaining ownership of key legal work internally where appropriate.
• Develop legal frameworks, governance processes and risk management policies.
• Partner closely with senior management on commercial and strategic initiatives.
• Support the business on a diverse range of day-to-day legal, regulatory and operational matters as the regional platform continues to grow.

Requirements:

• Qualified lawyer with approximately 10+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong training from a leading international or top-tier law firm.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: Real Estate, Real Assets / Infrastructure, Private Equity, Corporate M&A, or Investment Funds.
• Proven track record advising on complex cross-border transactions.
• Commercially minded, pragmatic and capable of operating in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working in a lean environment and able to balance strategic advisory responsibilities with hands-on execution.
• Versatile lawyer who enjoys handling a broad range of legal, commercial and operational matters.
• Prior in-house experience is advantageous.
