Our client is a listed technology platform, operating globally and with a significant footprint in Asia. Reporting to the GC based in the US, you will manage a team and play a hands on / mission critical role for the business. High profile role!

Job Description

• The role is a mix of regulation, commercial and corporate work - with a key focus on regulatory advisory.
• The role will focus on product distribution and regulatory support to ensure the business can mix commercial growth with platform protection.
• Key stakeholder internally include product teams, deal teams, C-Suite and both in Asia and around the world.
• External stakeholders include regulatory bodies, government officials / lobbyists.
• You will manage a team of highly qualified legal and compliance professionals, as well as external counsel / consultancies.

Requirements

• 15+ years PQE, common law background
• Tier 1 education / academics and law firm training
• Technology background and regulation focused
• Regulatory advisory role and across Asia
• Commercial and corporate experience, although secondary to regulation
• International experience can be education, working overseas, MNC environment
• Stakeholder managment skills at 10/10
