Head of Legal and Compliance, Investment Management

Our client is a leading global real estate investment management firm with a significant presence across Asia Pacific. They are seeking an experienced Head of Legal & Compliance, Asia Pacific, based in Singapore, to join the regional leadership team and oversee the Legal and Compliance function across the region.

The successful candidate will lead all legal and compliance matters across the region and serve as a strategic adviser to senior leadership. Key responsibilities include overseeing corporate and client transactions, regulatory compliance, ethics and governance initiatives, litigation and claims, external counsel, employment-related legal matters, enterprise risk management and business continuity. The role will also support the adoption of relevant systems and technologies, develop the regional team, and contribute to the organization's broader global legal strategy.

The ideal candidate will be admitted to practice in at least one Asia Pacific jurisdiction and bring 12+ years of legal experience gained in private practice and/or an in-house environment within a complex international organization. Experience within investment management and/or asset management is required, while exposure to real estate will be advantageous.
