A rapidly growing Singapore-based enterprise with diverse business interests spanning commodity trading, industrial project development, and international investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the Legal Department according to the company's business growth and strategic needs.
- Provide legal advice and support for corporate governance, M&A, commodity trading, and overseas industrial project development.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements in multiple languages, including English and Chinese, to meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with external legal firms and oversee domestic and cross-border legal issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Support management on business-related legal strategies and other assigned legal matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Law.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in corporate legal affairs or private practice.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and international trade regulations experience in M&A or engineering-related projects is an advantage.
- Familiarity with the legal environment in Southeast Asia.
