As part of our strategic international expansion, we are looking for a Head of International Expansion (Senior Manager) to spearhead market entry, drive business growth, and establish EPOS as a key player in new markets. This role is ideal for a driven and entrepreneurial leader who thrives in building business presence from the ground up.
Role Summary
The Head of International Expansion (Senior Manager) will be responsible for identifying, launching, and scaling EPOS into new international markets. You will drive the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, oversee business development, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth market entry and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion & Strategy
- Develop and execute the international expansion roadmap across regions and markets.
- Conduct market research and feasibility studies to identify growth opportunities
- Define go-to-market strategies, market entry models, and growth plans
Business Development & Partnerships
- Build strategic partnerships with local distributors, merchants, and payment providers
- Establish relationships with government and industry associations to facilitate market entry
- Identify and pursue high-impact business opportunities in new markets and regions
Operations & Execution
- Set up local operations and teams in new markets to support market entry
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless launch
- Monitor market performance and optimize operational processes for scalability
Leadership & Reporting
- Provide regular market analysis and progress reports to senior management
- Advise on strategic investments and business risks in expansion markets
- Mentor and build high-performing local teams for long-term growth
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, International Relations, or related fields (MBA preferred)
- 6+ years of experience in international expansion, business development, or regional leadership, preferably in FinTech,Payment or SaaS (i.e POS) related industries
- Open for level candidates who are from strategy consulting background (specialising in fintech related industries)
- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling business operations in new markets
- Strong networking, negotiation, and partnership development skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on execution capability in fast-growing environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
