Head of Information Technology

StarX Capital Markets has held a Capital Market Service License from the Monetary Authority of Singapore since 2020. Along with its affiliates, StarX offers a broad range of services to corporate clients and financial institutions, including, but not limited to, Foreign Exchange Intermediary, Asset Management, Futures Brokerage (licensed by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission), and Private Equity Asset Management. We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team.

As the head of technology for the company, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's technology infrastructure, managing technology risks, and ensuring robust cyber security practices. Additionally, they will collaborate with external technology risk consultants to develop, implement, and continuously improve policies and processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Communicate with and provide regular updates to the Board and Senior Management Committees.
2. Oversee IT risk management, IT compliance, and ensure effective risk mitigation strategies are in place.
3. Act as the primary point of contact for all IT infrastructure-related vendors and manage technology risk reports.
4. Leverage Artificial Intelligence to enhance process efficiency and sustainability (experience in this area is a plus).
5. Support IT risk-related projects and initiatives, ensuring successful execution and alignment with company goals.

Requirements:

1. At least 5 years working experience, at least 1 year of experience in IT risk management, with a focus on operational, IT, and cyber risks
2. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
3. Experience in Fintech or financial institutions is preferred, with an understanding of regulatory requirements for financial entities.
4. A proactive team player and team lead with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
5. Exposure to or experience in Digital Payment Token licensed entity is a plus.
6. Candidate must have exposure to Financial Institution incorporated in Singapore
