Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Departmental Governance

  • Establish long-term strategic plans and operating roadmaps aligned with corporate objectives, route expansions, and premium brand positioning.

Operational Efficiency & Cost Optimization

  • Direct and optimize annual multi-million-dollar operating budgets across crew operations, training academies, and catering contracts.
  • Spearhead major network efficiency programs, including the feasibility, setup, and governance of regional cabin crew hub operations to optimize crew positioning and accommodation overheads.

  • Lead strategic vendor negotiations with international flight catering suppliers, dry-store vendors, and logistical partners to drive unit-cost savings while preserving service standards.

Guest Experience & Global Airline Rankings

  • Lead initiatives directly aimed at enhancing the carrier's standings in premier global airline audits, assessments, and consumer rankings (e.g., Skytrax World Airline Awards, APEX).
  • Oversee inflight culinary concepts, beverage programs, and cabin amenity design in collaboration with culinary directors, sommeliers, and brand designers.
  • Champion continuous service enhancements by establishing real-time passenger feedback loops, Net Promoter Score (NPS) tracking, and root-cause analysis for service anomalies.

Talent Development, Engagement & Safety Compliance

  • Oversee comprehensive training curricula at the Inflight Training Academy, ensuring rigorous compliance with international civil aviation authorities (ICAO, IATA/IOSA, and local CAAs).
  • Cultivate a culture of service excellence, high performance, and cultural safety among thousands of multinational cabin crew members.
  • Champion initiatives that drive significant gains in employee engagement, crew retention, and frontline workplace wellbeing.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum 12–15+ years of progressive airline management experience, with at least 5–7 years in senior executive leadership within Inflight Services, Cabin Crew Operations, or Inflight Product Delivery at a full-service carrier.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field; Master's/MBA preferred.
  • Cost & Analytical Acumen: Proven track record of managing enterprise operating budgets, executing structural cost transformations, and leveraging workforce management/scheduling technologies.
  • Service Mindset: Deep expertise in premium hospitality, food and beverage, cabin interior design, and international service delivery standards.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of international aviation regulations regarding cabin crew operating limits, safety management systems (SMS), and emergency procedures.
  • Leadership: Exceptional cross-cultural communication, stakeholder management, and labor-relations skills across diverse, multinational teams.
