Job Description
A fast-growing international FinTech / financial services group is strengthening its leadership team as it enters its next stage of regional expansion.
We are looking for a commercially minded Head of People & Talent to build and lead an integrated people strategy across multiple businesses and jurisdictions. The role combines HR Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards, with significant exposure to senior management.
This is a build-and-execute role. We are looking for someone who can create frameworks and challenge senior stakeholders, but is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves and personally driving execution in a fast-changing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- People & Organisation Strategy — Partner senior business leaders on organisation design, workforce planning, talent reviews, succession planning, performance and organisational effectiveness.
- HR Business Partnering — Build a proactive regional HRBP model, identify organisational issues early and lead complex employee relations, restructuring and performance matters.
- Talent Acquisition — Own regional hiring strategy and workforce planning while personally driving critical Head/VP-level and specialist searches when required.
- Total Rewards — Develop scalable compensation bands, benchmarking, benefits and rewards frameworks across multiple jurisdictions, partnering Finance and leadership on workforce costs and equity programmes.
- Build for Scale — Establish practical people frameworks, analytics and governance that support a rapidly expanding multi-business, multi-jurisdiction organisation without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong depth across HRBP/People partnering and meaningful exposure to Talent Acquisition and/or Total Rewards.
- Proven experience partnering C-suite / senior business leaders on organisation, talent, workforce and people decisions across multiple markets.
- Strong regional experience across multiple jurisdictions and cultures, ideally within FinTech, technology, financial services or another rapidly scaling international organisation.
- Demonstrated 0→1 / build experience — able to design practical frameworks, challenge existing approaches and personally drive implementation rather than relying entirely on established COEs.
- Commercial, analytical and highly hands-on, combining strategic thinking + structured frameworks + flexibility + execution in an evolving environment.
- Proven experience leading organisational change and transformation, with the ability to adapt communication styles and effectively engage Chinese-speaking stakeholders and senior leadership.
Regrettably, only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
