Job Description

Head of HR – Technology

Charterhouse are supporting a Tech/AI MNC in their search for a Head of HR to oversee all of the operational and strategic HR functions as they realign the HR direction.

This person must have proven and recent experience in a Technology/Data organisation in a similar and proven capacity

There has been lots of change and scaling over the past few years and they are now ready to hire a HR leader to report to the Global Head of HR in order to stabilise the Singapore and SEA team.

This role will manage the HR Business Partnering team as well as the Talent Acquisition team and will need to be hands on strategically and able to add value in terms of sourcing the best talent from global talent pools.

They will need lead and manage complex change projects as the business navigates ambitious growth plans.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic HR partner to senior leadership, providing guidance across workforce planning, employee engagement, talent strategy, and organisational development.
  • Review the Talent Acquisition strategy to ensure that the best talent is attracted and introduced to the business -Must be hands on
  • Lead change management programmes that support business transformation, operational alignment, and ambitious growth plans.
  • Oversee complex employee relations matters, ensuring timely, balanced, and practical resolutions while managing risk effectively.
  • Partner closely with business leaders to identify talent gaps and deliver solutions across hiring, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Coach and advise managers and employees on HR policies, employment legislation, employee relations, and performance management matters.
  • Design and implement HR initiatives that strengthen organisational effectiveness, employee experience, and overall business performance.
  • Collaborate with HR centres of excellence, including Compensation & Benefits and Learning & Development, to deliver programmes aligned with business needs.
  • Use HR data, metrics, and trends to provide insight, inform decision-making, and continuously improve HR practices.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws, regulations, and internal company policies.

Attributes

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, ideally gained in a business partnering capacity within a fast-paced or high-growth organisation.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, employment legislation, and contemporary best practices.
  • Proven ability to influence, advise, and build credibility with senior leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a confident and collaborative style.
