Job Overview & Expectations
Our client in medical device manufacturing is seeking an experienced Head of Human Resources (APAC) to lead the human resources function, including providing strategic advice to leadership, managing key stakeholders, and overseeing core HR operations for the company's long-term growth and compliance. He/She is responsible for leading and managing all human resources functions within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's goals, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and fostering a positive workplace culture. He/She will oversee talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and workforce planning while ensuring that the organisation attracts, retains, and develops top talent in the highly regulated medical device sector.

Job Responsibilities

  • Spearhead and roll-out HR strategies across the APAC region Provide strategic input, working closely with key stakeholders
  • Drive HR initiatives on a regional level, supporting employee engagement, growth and efficiency Oversee regional budgeting and cost, streamlining HR operations
  • Manage regional payroll ensuring compliance with local labour laws and regulations Spearhead regional compensation and benefits initiatives and alignment
  • Partner closely with senior leadership to align human resource strategies with business goals and workforce planning, including succession planning
  • Provide guidance and support to various business units and projects for resource and budget planning
  • Oversee other assigned functions outside of HR, such as office management, quality, as well as vendor management.

Job Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or any relevant discipline
  • At least 10 years of experience, with 5 years of leading a team
  • Strong experience managing regional HR teams and functions
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage strategy and operations Ability to multi-task and manage different projects and objectives
  • Strong organizational skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills.
