Head of HR, Southeast Asia | B2B
Frazer Jones is retained on a confidential basis to appoint a HR Director to oversee the Southeast Asia region (total of 6 markets). This is a permanent, fulltime position based in Singapore. In this critical regional leadership role, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the HR agenda for the sales offices across Southeast Asia. With the business entering a strategic phase of commercial expansion in key growth markets, this role will be integral in strengthening HR fundamentals, building organisational capability, and ensuring the HR function effectively supports the region's longterm commercial objectives. The total headcount size of the organization hovers at slightly under 300.
Key Responsibilities
In a hands-on capacity, this role will oversee the endtoend HR agenda across multiple diverse Southeast Asian markets. You will own and refine the HR operating model for a sales office environment, ensuring strong execution of core HR processes including workforce planning, recruitment, employee lifecycle management, organisational effectiveness, performance management, and HR operations. Specifically, this role is expected to remain handson, whilst partnering closely with commercial leaders and country managers to provide practical, businessaligned guidance on both operational and strategic people matters. Some key focus areas will include driving consistency across markets, elevating HR operational standards, and supporting the organisation through postleadershiptransition changes, particularly in strengthening talent engagement and retention.
Ideal Profile
The client seeks an experienced HR leader with strong operational depth and a proven track record overseeing HR across multiple Southeast Asian markets within complex, matrixed, and commercial environments. Prior experience in B2B sectors, or organisations with distributed sales offices is strongly preferred. As a guideline, candidates should bring at least 12 to 15 years of HR experience. Success in this role requires the ability to work within a lean team structure, maintain a handson approach, and apply strong Excel proficiency.
