Local HR Operations
. Management of all HR activities and the delivery of efficient and effective HR operations to the markets in scope.
. Harmonization of HR policies and processes with the region, to ensure alignment to business needs, global/regional HR strategies and best market practices.
. Business Partner to the local HODs / employees and Consultant to the General Manager, for all people matters.
. Work closely with Regional HR for the rollout of all global/regional people initiatives and manage the communication / execution of such activities in the respective countries.
. Play an active role and working closely with Regional HR Controller on review of department structure and personnel costs, while partnering the business to optimise the productivity and workforce planning within budget levels.
. Support the countries and work closely with Regional HR / HODs in all critical activity cycles - Performance Evaluation, Merit Increase, Bonus Payments etc.
. Formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added services to the various departments by aligning business objectives.
. Evaluate individual and organization development needs, and in partnership with the Regional / Local Retail Training Team to conduct HR-related trainings
. Partnering the line managers in the sourcing and shortlist of candidates through various recruitment channels
. Manage and resolve employee relations issues and provide relevant HR advice
. Partner with Line Managers to improve productivity and retention
. Provide performance management advice and support in annual performance appraisal, salary review & bonus exercise, talent review etc
. Oversee the monthly payroll and all other HR transactional services provided through HRSSC
. Formulation and rollout of Local HR Policies and Initiatives
. Administer employee on-boarding induction / activities
. Administer insurances, claims, staff welfare and activities
. Point of contact for employees enquiries and requests
. Any ad-hoc duties relating to Human Resources
Forecast & Budget
. Support the General Manager in all Forecast & Budget activities for the various countries.
. Initiate budget discussions with HODs and provide HR advice on headcount, team structure, promotions, employee development and training.
. Work closely with Regional HR / Regional HR Controller / Finance to manage the preparation of forecast & budget submission.
Reporting
. Monthly consolidation of local headcount reports, organization chart and turnover reports
. Monthly upload of headcount and payroll information to the system
. Any adhoc reporting required to support the Business in analysis / commission review / business proposals.
