Head of Health and Safety (Manufacturing)

Responsibilities:

• Support management in ensuring compliance with occupational safety, health and fire safety regulations, policies and standards
• Develop and review safety guidelines, emergency procedures and safe work practices to minimise workplace hazards.
• Conduct workplace inspections, safety audits, accident investigations and maintain accurate incident records and statistics
• Perform gas-free testing, endorse permits for hazardous activities and ensure compliance with safe work procedures.
• Coordinate fire safety preparedness, oversee firefighting equipment inspections and lead emergency rescue operations when required
• Conduct safety inductions, develop training materials and deliver safety and firefighting programmes for employees, contractors and emergency response teams.
• Engage contractors and operational teams to strengthen safety practices, implement regulatory updates and promote a proactive workplace safety culture.

Requirements:

• Degree in Environmental Engineering
• At least 8 years of experience in related industry
• FSM, WAH and Confined Space certification
• Manufacturing or related experience
