We are seeking an experienced Head of FX & Liquidity to join our new Digital Assets team in Singapore and/or London, reporting to our Chief Digital Assets Officer.

In this role you will get the chance to lead and scale our foreign exchange, liquidity management, and market structure capabilities for digital assets. This role is critical to ensuring deep, resilient liquidity competitive pricing, and robust risk management across spot, OTC, hedging and on/off-ramp products.

We offer a hybrid work model for our employees to allow for flexibility and productivity. However, we do expect you to spend most of your time in the office to build community and efficiency in the team.

Key responsibilities

Liquidity & Market Strategy

• Own the end-to-end liquidity strategy across FX pairs, crypto pairs, and fiat-to-crypto
• Design and manage liquidity provisioning models (internalization, external LPs, market makers, venues)
• Optimize spreads, depth, and execution quality across all supported markets
• Oversee liquidity stress testing and contingency planning for volatile market conditions

FX & Digital Asset Markets

• Lead FX trading and conversion strategy across major and emerging currencies
• Manage crypto liquidity across spot, derivatives, and structured products
• Develop pricing models that reflect real-time market conditions, funding costs, and risk
• Monitor global market structure trends and emerging venues in both FX and digital assets

Risk & Governance

• Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Treasury to ensure strong controls around market, credit, and counterparty risk
• Define limits, hedging strategies, and escalation frameworks
• Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements across jurisdictions
• Establish governance around liquidity sources, concentration risk, and dependencies

Technology & Infrastructure

• Work closely with Engineering and Product to build scalable liquidity and pricing infrastructure
• Guide integration with trading venues, liquidity providers, and prime brokers
• Champion automation, real-time monitoring, and analytics for liquidity performance

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Build and lead a high-performing FX and liquidity team
• Act as a senior stakeholder for executive leadership, clients, and external partners
• Support strategic initiatives including new market launches, products, and partnerships

Things we'll look for on your resume

To be the right candidate for this role, we expect you to have 6+ years of experience in FX trading, liquidity management, or market structure, as well as direct experience in crypto exchanges, digital assets market making, or prime brokerage. Also, you have a strong understanding or FX and digital assets markets, and you are technical fluent with trading systems, APIs, and data analytics tools.

You have a proven track record managing liquidity across high-volume, low-latency environments, and you possess deep knowledge of pricing models, execution algorithms, and market microstructure. You have already worked with regulators and compliance teams in financial services, and you are familiar with stablecoins, on/off-ramps, and cross-border payments, as well as operating in a 24/7 trading environment.

As a person, you thrive in a dynamic international environment, you are comfortable operating with a start-up mindset and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
