Based: Singapore
We're looking for a senior fundraising leader to drive capital formation and investor engagement for our current and future investment vehicles. You'll cover Asia-Pacific, Europe and the US
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an accomplished, highly driven Head of Fundraising to lead capital formation and investor engagement for our current and future investment vehicles.
Based in Singapore, you'll shape and deliver our fundraising strategy across Asia-Pacific, Europe and the United States. A big part of the role is building long-term relationships with institutional investors, family offices, high-net-worth individuals and other sophisticated capital partners.
You'll bring a strong track record in private-market fundraising and an established investor network. You'll also be able to manage the full fundraising cycle, from finding and building investor relationships through due diligence, negotiation and closing.
This is a strategic, externally facing role. You'll work closely with senior leadership to grow our global investor base and support the continued growth of our investment platform.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising Strategy & Execution
- Lead fundraising initiatives for current and future investment vehicles
- Develop and execute a global capital-raising strategy and roadmap across APAC, Europe and the US
- Manage the full fundraising lifecycle: investor origination, qualification, engagement, due diligence, negotiation and closing
- Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of LPs and strategic capital partners
- Develop investor segmentation, positioning and outreach strategies
- Establish fundraising targets and provide regular pipeline, conversion and market updates
- Identify new investor channels, partnerships and capital sources
Investor Relations
Build and maintain senior-level relationships with:
- HNWIs and UHNWIs
- Single & Multi-Family Offices
- Pension Funds
- Sovereign Wealth Funds
- Endowments & Foundations
- Fund of Funds
- Institutional Asset Owners and Allocators
- Other sophisticated private and institutional investors
The role will also represent the firm at investor meetings, conferences, roadshows and industry events globally, while developing a deep understanding of investor mandates, allocation strategies and risk appetite.
Fundraising Materials & Due Diligence
Oversee investor presentations, pitch decks, DDQs, data rooms, investor reporting and fundraising pipeline materials, while coordinating due diligence processes with internal and external stakeholders.
Leadership, Collaboration & Market Intelligence
- Work closely with senior leadership and investment teams to align fundraising priorities with our investment strategy, products and growth goals
- Keep track of global fundraising trends, institutional allocation priorities and developments across relevant private markets
- Provide insight into investor appetite, competitive positioning and new capital sources
- Help build our long-term investor relations and capital formation capabilities
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of relevant experience in fundraising, capital formation, investor relations, institutional sales or related roles within private markets, alternative investments, asset management, private equity, infrastructure or real assets
- Demonstrated track record of successfully raising capital
- Strong experience managing fundraising from origination through closing
- Strong experience with investor groups including HNWIs/UHNWIs, Family Offices, Pension Funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Endowments, Fund of Funds and institutional LPs.
- Established network of LPs, institutional investors, family offices and/or private capital sources
- Solid understanding of private-market fundraising and institutional investor engagement, with the confidence to engage at C-suite, principal and investment-committee level.
- Experience across multiple jurisdictions and international investor markets is highly valued. China and broader APAC fundraising experience is particularly desirable, with European and US institutional exposure considered an advantage.
- Willingness to travel internationally for investor meetings, roadshows and industry events.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Investment Management or a related field.
- MBA, CFA, CAIA or similar qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
- Mandarin Chinese, are also highly valued; additional APAC language capabilities a plus
