Head of Investment (Real Estate)

Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team responsible for the organisation's funding strategy and execution.
- Develop and implement financing initiatives aligned with corporate growth, acquisition, and asset optimisation objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with investors, lenders, and other financial counterparties.
- Oversee deal structuring, negotiation, and documentation in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
- Evaluate and recommend capital allocation and financing approaches across real estate asset classes and strategic transactions.
- Manage complex financing structures and monitor portfolio performance through regular analysis and reporting.
- Identify emerging credit or market risks and advise senior management on appropriate funding and risk management strategies.
- Represent the funding function at senior management and board meetings, providing insights on capital structure, market trends, and financing opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in capital markets, structured finance, investment banking, or asset management, ideally with real estate or infrastructure exposure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese is essential for effective regional communication.
- Strong understanding of debt financing, securitisation, and various capital-raising instruments.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to build, guide, and motivate teams.
- Analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and commercial acumen.
- Deep knowledge of market dynamics, distribution channels, and regulatory frameworks relevant to real estate funding.
