Job Summary
IM JAI is Singapore's first creative casual Thai concept restaurant seeking a hands-on Head of Finance & Operations to lead financial management and operational excellence, supporting business expansion and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts and detailed financial analyses to inform strategic decision-making
- Ensure full compliance with GST, tax, payroll, and statutory regulatory requirements to mitigate risks and maintain legal adherence
- Develop and implement cost-control strategies that enhance profitability and operational efficiency
- Lead daily operations management, including the execution and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and effective manpower planning
- Manage inventory control processes and negotiate with suppliers to optimize cost and supply chain reliability
- Maintain compliance with all relevant local regulatory requirements to support smooth business operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- CPA/CA certification preferred
- 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably within the F&B or hospitality industry
- Proven experience in financial planning and operational management within a similar business context
- Familiarity with Singapore's regulatory and compliance landscape
- Strategic thinker with demonstrated hands-on leadership capabilities
