Head of Finance (Finance & Accounting Leadership, Office Hours) HDC1

Take the top finance seat in an established, listed group in the distribution and retail sector. You'll report directly to senior management, lead a sizeable finance team and shape the financial direction of a growing business.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the full finance and accounting function across the group's business units
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and management reporting
• Provide commercial insights to support sales, inventory and business expansion decisions
• Manage cash flow, working capital and inventory financing
• Ensure timely, accurate statutory reporting manage tax, audits and internal controls
• Partner business heads to improve profitability and cost management
• Drive finance process improvement and system enhancements
• Lead, develop and mentor a finance team of around 15, including team leads and a finance manager

What You'll Bring

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and above, with CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent
• At least 10 years of progressive finance experience, including 5 years or more in a senior leadership role
• Experience leading finance teams of a similar size in a mid-sized organisation
• Strong grasp of inventory, working capital, budgeting, financial reporting, tax and audit
• Proficiency in ERP systems SAP Business One, AutoCount or Xero is a plus
• Strategic yet hands-on: comfortable stepping into finance operations when needed
• Strong leadership, people development and stakeholder management skills
