About Our Client

Our client is a growing real estate investment platform with a regional investment mandate across Asia Pacific. The firm invests across multiple jurisdictions and manages a portfolio of real estate assets through a disciplined investment strategy.

As part of its continued growth, the firm is seeking a Head of Finance to lead the finance function. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will work closely with the investment team to support acquisitions, financing and portfolio management while ensuring strong financial governance across the platform.

Operating in a lean and entrepreneurial environment, this role requires a finance leader who is both strategic and hands-on.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the finance function, overseeing accounting, consolidation and financial reporting across the management company and investment entities.

Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, providing analysis to support strategic decisions.

Partner closely with the investment team on financial modelling, acquisition analysis and deal execution.

Support investment structuring across jurisdictions, including SPVs and financing arrangements.

Oversee treasury management, capital deployment and banking relationships.

Ensure compliance with statutory, tax and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.

Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors and professional service providers.

Lead and mentor a small finance team within a collaborative environment.

Requirements

Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CA or ACCA.

15+ years of experience within real estate investment, private equity, real estate development or investment platforms.

Strong experience with SPVs, investment structures and consolidated financial reporting.

Experience supporting real estate transactions, financing structures and capital management.

Exposure to cross-border investments and multi-jurisdiction operations.

Hands-on and comfortable operating in lean, entrepreneurial environments.
