Head of Finance

As part of our expansion plans to push boundaries and transform healthcare through medical education, innovation, and trusted partnerships, we are seeking a seasoned Finance Director to join our leadership team.

This role will provide strategic financial leadership to support sustainable growth, strengthen governance, and ensure disciplined execution as we scale across markets. The Finance Director will partner closely with senior management to drive financial strategy, optimise performance, and uphold strong controls - enabling the organisation to deliver on its promise of creating a better life for all while raising the standards of medical care.

About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned Finance Director with a strong background in distribution businesses-ideally in medical devices or healthcare-to lead the Group's financial strategy. This role combines strategic planning and hands-on leadership to drive growth through effective budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and financial operations aligned with our expansion goals.

Key Responsibilities

P&L Ownership

. Oversee and manage full P&L responsibilities to drive financial performance and achieve profitability targets.

. Deliver accurate budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
Strategic Financial Planning

. Lead long-term financial forecasting, scenario modelling, and investment planning.

. Partner with group directors to shape strategy using data-driven financial insights.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

. Monitor and optimize cash flow, including receivables, payables, and inventory financing.

. Develop models to ensure sufficient liquidity and reduce capital inefficiencies.

Tax Strategy & Compliance

. Oversee tax planning, compliance, and optimization strategies across jurisdictions.

. Ensure all local, regional, and cross-border tax regulations are adhered to.

Operational Finance & Efficiency

. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement operational improvements within finance and across the business.

. Support automation and digital tools to streamline financial processes.

Distributor Model & Margin Management

. Bring in-depth experience working with distribution-driven businesses, particularly within the medical sector.

. Advise on pricing structures, margin optimization, rebates, and distributor agreements.

Risk Management & Internal Controls

. Establish robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.

. Ensure full compliance with regulatory, audit, and statutory reporting requirements.

What We're Looking For

. Finance Director or Senior Regional Finance Manager in distributor-based businesses experience in medical devices or healthcare is highly preferred.

. Proven track record in cash flow optimization, margin management, and leading budgeting/forecasting processes.

. Strong knowledge of taxation, especially regional (SEA) and international tax environments.

. Experience handling multi-entity and cross-border finance operations.

. Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability and the ability to partner closely with the leadership team.

. Demonstrated experience driving financial transformation, compliance, and operational efficiency.
