We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Group Head of Finance to lead the company's global finance function across multiple markets. This role will be responsible for capital and liquidity management, financial strategy, operational finance, external financial partnerships, and governance across jurisdictions.
The ideal candidate combines deep financial leadership experience in financial services or securities firms with strong business acumen and the ability to support rapid international expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Treasury & Financial Management
- Lead end-to-end group treasury management, including liquidity planning, capital allocation, and cross-border fund arrangements across multiple markets.
- Design and optimize fund utilization, settlement, and payment processes to improve operational efficiency and capital productivity.
- Establish and monitor treasury risk management frameworks to ensure financial security and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee banking relationships, cash positioning, and funding strategies to support business growth.
Business Finance & Strategic Support
- Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to drive financial performance, margin optimization, and cost efficiency initiatives.
- Provide regular financial insights, forecasting, and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making, product pricing, and market expansion.
- Develop financial KPIs and performance dashboards to enhance transparency and data-driven management.
- Support business leaders with commercial finance perspectives and investment evaluation.
External Financial Partnerships & Capital Strategy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, brokers, clearing institutions, payment partners, and other financial service providers.
- Expand external financing channels and financial resources to support domestic and international business growth.
- Participate in major financing activities, capital operations, and strategic partnership negotiations.
- Enhance the company's credibility and influence within the financial ecosystem.
Compliance, Governance & Internal Control
- Ensure all financial activities comply with local and cross-border regulatory requirements.
- Establish and continuously improve internal control frameworks, financial governance, and audit mechanisms.
- Manage financial risk exposure and strengthen compliance culture across entities.
- Coordinate with legal, compliance, and risk functions on regulatory matters.
Finance Operations, Systems & Team Leadership
- Drive finance process optimization, automation, and digital transformation across the organization.
- Improve cross-functional collaboration through scalable financial infrastructure and systems.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global finance and treasury team.
- Strengthen professional capabilities and leadership bench within the finance organization.
Requirements
- Significant finance leadership experience within a fintech, digital investment, securities brokerage or large financial institutions
- Strong expertise in treasury management, capital allocation, settlement, and cross-border fund operations.
- Proven track record of working with financial institutions and managing external partnerships.
- Deep understanding of capital markets and financial services business models.
- Experience supporting multi-entity or international operations.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese is required to interact with stakeholders across regions including Greater China.
