Comsumer Products | Distributor Network Leadership | Market Expansion
For a commercially driven leader ready to make a tangible mark across some of the most dynamic and fast-evolving markets in Asia, the role of Head of Emerging Markets represents an exciting next step. If you're energized by complexity, motivated by growth, and skilled at turning distributor relationships into competitive advantages, we would be keen to hear from you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Head of Emerging Markets, you will take full ownership of commercial performance across a portfolio of third-party distributor markets, steering revenue, volume, and brand objectives with a sharp commercial eye.
- You will co-architect growth strategies with distribution partners, challenging and inspiring their teams to raise the bar on execution, trade investment efficiency, and consumer-facing activations.
- A core part of your remit will be evaluating untapped markets across the broader region and developing structured entry roadmaps that position the business for sustainable expansion in the years ahead. You will serve as the primary bridge between the regional leadership team and your distributor network, translating company priorities into locally relevant plans while managing a small internal team and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Monthly business reviews, market intelligence reporting, and ongoing competitor analysis will keep you and senior stakeholders informed and agile.
- Additionally, you will hold a representative leadership function in one key market, carrying both operational and compliance responsibilities that require sound judgment and an authoritative presence.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
This role calls for a seasoned commercial professional with at least 12 to 15 years of experience in regional sales, distributor management, or wholesale operations — ideally within the premium consumer goods or related fast-moving consumer products sector.
- You should bring a demonstrated ability to manage complex multi-market portfolios and third-party partnerships, paired with the financial acumen to assess trade investment returns and optimize revenue structures.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills are essential, as is the ability to shift fluently between strategic planning and hands-on execution when the situation demands it.
- A data-informed mindset, resilience under pressure, and comfort with significant regional travel, up to 50 % of the time.
