Role Overview
Morgan Business & Crypto Advisor is seeking a Head of Digital Asset Trading based in Singapore to lead its trading operations across centralized and decentralized markets. This senior role will oversee strategy development, execution infrastructure, liquidity management, and risk controls across spot, derivatives, and on-chain environments. The Head of Digital Asset Trading will be responsible for driving alpha generation while maintaining disciplined capital preservation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute proprietary trading strategies across cryptocurrency spot and derivatives markets.
- Oversee risk management frameworks including exposure limits, volatility controls, and capital allocation models.
- Lead trading desk operations including execution efficiency, liquidity sourcing, and performance attribution.
- Collaborate with quantitative research and analytics teams to refine models and signal frameworks.
- Monitor global market structure, funding rate dynamics, and cross-exchange inefficiencies.
- Identify arbitrage, structured yield, and directional opportunities across centralized and decentralized venues.
- Build and mentor a high-performance trading function aligned with growth objectives.
- Provide leadership reporting on trading performance, risk metrics, and strategic positioning.
Ideal Profile
- Extensive professional experience trading digital assets at a senior level.
- Strong understanding of derivatives, leverage mechanics, liquidity depth, and market microstructure.
- Proven track record managing risk in high-volatility crypto environments.
- Experience with API-based execution systems and multi-exchange strategies.
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities in fast-moving markets.
- Comfortable operating in a performance-driven and capital-focused environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Quantitative Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related discipline.
- Experience in hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, or institutional crypto platforms.
- Familiarity with DeFi trading environments and on-chain analytics.
- Understanding of MAS regulatory landscape in Singapore is advantageous.
Compensation & Structure
- Base Salary: SGD 240,000 - SGD 320,000 annually.
- Performance-Based Incentive: 5% - 15% aligned with trading performance.
- Remote flexibility within Singapore.
