Head of Development

A leading real estate asset management group is seeking a Head of Development to oversee and drive the success of logistics development projects in Singapore. What youll do:

As Head of Development, you will play a central role in steering logistics property projects from inception through completion. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve managing multiple concurrent projects while ensuring they meet quality standards and financial targets.

• Oversee the full lifecycle management of logistics development projects in Singapore, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and timely delivery within budgetary constraints.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of development professionals, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Cultivate strong relationships with counterparties, clients, contractors, and internal teams to promote new business opportunities and enhance project outcomes.
• Develop and maintain an active pipeline of development opportunities that support the overall investment strategy of the group.
• Collaborate closely with acquisition, marketing, group investment, and leasing teams to ensure efficient execution of investment strategies and achievement of business objectives.
• Identify both development and acquisition opportunities by conducting thorough market analysis and leveraging industry insights.
• Prepare compelling written proposals for Build-to-Suit projects as well as leasing proposals in partnership with the leasing team.
• Lead or support negotiations related to development and acquisition activities, ensuring favourable terms for all parties involved.
• Drive the preparation and implementation of innovative business development initiatives and strategies that align with long-term organisational growth plans.

What you bring:

• Degree qualified with direct exposure to real estate advanced academic credentials are advantageous for understanding complex property transactions.
• At least 15 years experience within the property industryideally focused on logistics assets across the APAC regiondemonstrating deep sector knowledge.
• Proven operational experience managing profit-and-loss responsibilities including funds management, capital transactions, or asset management functions relevant to large-scale developments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex deals in Singapores competitive market by working collaboratively with both internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Strong management capabilities allowing you to effectively coordinate diverse teams towards shared goals while upholding high standards for performance.
