Position Title: Head of Design (Data Centers)

Location: Singapore

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of major data centre developments, from feasibility studies and planning through to commissioning and readiness for operation.
• Develop technical strategies, infrastructure concepts, and project roadmaps that align with business and operational objectives.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams across architecture, engineering, building systems, security, and other critical functions.
• Establish and maintain design standards, governance processes, and compliance requirements to ensure quality, reliability, and consistency.
• Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency, resilience, performance, and long-term operational effectiveness.
• Lead technical reviews, value engineering initiatives, cost optimisation efforts, and procurement support activities.
• Provide technical leadership during construction, testing, commissioning, and project handover phases.
• Manage regulatory approvals, stakeholder engagement, and compliance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Partner with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to deliver projects successfully and efficiently.
• Build, mentor, and lead design delivery teams while implementing scalable processes and best practices.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience leading the design and delivery of large-scale data centre or mission-critical infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record managing complex projects from planning and design through to commissioning and operational handover.
• Strong understanding of critical infrastructure systems, including electrical, mechanical, cooling, fire protection, building management, and integrated technology systems.
• Knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, commissioning practices, and cost management principles.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, international environment.
