Our client, a large Singapore-headquartered investment and asset manager with a strong regional presence, is looking for a Head of Data and Analytics to lead its enterprise data platform and data engineering function.

The role

• Define and deliver the enterprise data strategy and roadmap.
• Build and lead a high-performing data engineering team.
• Own modern cloud data platforms, including lakehouse, warehouse and real-time capabilities.
• Partner with investment, risk and operations teams on trusted investment data and AI/ML initiatives.
• Lead data governance, quality and regulatory compliance.

The candidate

• 12+ years in technology, including 8+ in data engineering or cloud data architecture.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams and large-scale data programmes.
• Asset management, banking or capital markets experience, preferred.
• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, Spark, Kafka and AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Executive presence and a strategic, delivery-focused mindset.
