Role DescriptionThe Head of Data & Analytics leads the organization's data strategy, analytics initiatives, and business intelligence efforts. This executive role ensures that data is effectively collected, analyzed, and leveraged to drive strategic decision-making, operational efficiency, and business growth. The Head of Data & Analytics oversees data governance, analytics teams, and reporting systems, translating complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the organization's data strategy and analytics roadmap.
- Lead and manage data, analytics, and business intelligence teams.
- Oversee the collection, storage, processing, and analysis of structured and unstructured data.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
- Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with business units to identify analytics opportunities and define key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Evaluate and implement emerging data technologies, tools, and platforms.
- Provide actionable insights to senior leadership to drive business strategy and innovation.
- Foster a data-driven culture across the organization.
Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in data analytics, business intelligence, or data management roles.
- Strong knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and database management.
- Experience with data governance, data warehousing, and cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Certifications in data analytics, business intelligence, or data management are a plus.
