Head of Cytologist ( Medical Laboratory ) #HVY

Responsibilities:

. Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Cytology Department.

. Manage and supervise cytology staff, including technologists, technicians, and support staff.

. Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork within the department

. Oversee the technical operations of the cytology department, including specimen receipt, processing, and analysis.

. Prepare stains, mount slides, and microscopically study cells from the human body to detect evidence of cancer, hormonal abnormalities, and other pathological conditions.

. Performs specialized and complex testing that involves microscopic screening and evaluation of gynaecological and non-gynaecological specimens.

Requirements:

Degree in Biomedical Science, Biochemistry, or relevant qualifications.

5-6 years relevant experience in Cytology

Certified cytotechnologist by Cytotechnology International Academy of Cytology
