We are seeking a senior Head of Credit Audit to lead independent assurance over credit risk governance, underwriting, portfolio management, and problem credit processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the credit audit strategy across all portfolios
- Provide assurance on credit risk frameworks, policies, and regulatory compliance
- Deliver high-quality audit opinions and reporting to senior management and the Audit Committee
- Partner with Credit, Risk, and Business leaders while maintaining independence
- Lead and develop a team of senior credit auditors
Requirements
- 12-18+ years in credit audit, credit risk, or risk management within a bank or regulated institution
- Strong knowledge of credit products, risk rating systems, provisioning (IFRS 9/CECL), and regulatory expectations
- Proven leadership experience and ability to engage at C-suite and Board level
- Professional certifications (CPA, CIA, CFA, FRM) preferred
