Position Overview
Saison International is seeking a visionary and operationally-driven Head/SVP of Information Technology. This critical leadership role is responsible for shaping and executing the global technology strategy for the current Fiscal Year and over the Mid-Term. The Head/SVP will oversee a centralized tech organization while partner and matrix-reporting lines into regional entities, ensuring technology is a seamless enabler of business goals across all global markets.
This leader will be the functional architect of a multi-disciplined team, bringing structure, governance, and transformation to a growing global footprint.
Key Responsibilities
1. Tech Leadership & Business Partnership (Matrix Reporting)
- Define, develop, and deliver a cohesive global technology roadmap that supports Saison International's strategic goals for the current FY and Mid-Term.
- Serve as the key technology thought partner to the Singapore Functional Heads and Global Market Heads, ensuring a deep alignment between business needs and technological capability.
- Establish a global tech operating model that balances central efficiency with market-specific agility.
- Foster a highly collaborative, partnership-driven culture between the Tech team and the Tech Business Partners.
2. Global Operations & Functional Oversight
- Provide executive leadership to the entire Global Tech Team, including direct oversight of all central functions.
- Manage a global multi-tiered team with key reports across several critical areas.
- Provide strategic direction and high-level functional management to the following domains within the Central Tech Functions:
Business Support and Operations: Overarching responsibility for technology's contribution to core business health.
Infra/Network Support: Ensure the stability, scalability, and security of all global core infrastructure.
Application Support: Guarantee optimal performance, maintenance, and user support for the enterprise application suite.
Technology Transformation: Lead all major technological change initiatives, including system modernizations and digital transformations.
Vendor Governance: Establish and enforce a global framework for key technology partner management, ensuring cost-efficiency, contract compliance, and service excellence.
Tech PMO: Provide executive oversight to the project management function, ensuring projects are prioritized, resourced, and delivered on-time/on-budget,
Tech and Cyber Risk: Accountable for the overall security and compliance posture of the organization, managing tech risks proactively and responding to incidents.
3. PMO & Team Delivery Excellence (Strategic Oversight)
- While direct project work is managed by the Global Tech Team (e.g., PMO Leads), the Head/SVP is ultimately responsible for the portfolio's delivery success.
- Provide strategic guidance to the teams delivering key projects, including (but not limited to):
AVP PMO: Ensuring delivery of Business & Ops-specific projects.
Tech Risk: Directing the risk and compliance strategy for the whole organization.
IT Ops (Infra/App): Validating operational stability and efficiency of support systems.
4. Team Development & Cultural Leadership
- Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing global technology team, cultivating a culture of innovation, accountability, and user-centricity.
- Oversee the performance management and development path for all members across the tech org.
- Champion a commitment to technical excellence and professional development for the entire global tech team
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership, with at least 5 years in an executive-level role (e.g., VP, SVP) within a complex, global organization.
- Proven experience in managing multi-disciplinary, globally distributed technology teams of 50+.
- Deep knowledge across all key organizational pillars mentioned in the chart:
Strategic technology transformation.
Robust IT infrastructure/network/application operations at enterprise scale.
Rigorous project portfolio management (PMO).
Global vendor relationship and contract management.
Comprehensive tech and cybersecurity risk management and compliance. - Financial Services/Fintech: Strong preference for experience in a regulated industry, ideally within financial services or fintech
