Role Description

We are seeking a strategic and commercially savvy leader to drive corporate development initiatives in Singapore. In this role, you will oversee mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic investments, supporting the organisation's growth and long-term business objectives.

You will work closely with executive leadership to identify opportunities, evaluate deals, and manage corporate development projects from strategy through execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute corporate development strategies aligned with organisational goals
  • Identify and evaluate mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships
  • Conduct financial analysis, due diligence, and business valuation
  • Build business cases, financial models, and scenario analyses to support decision-making
  • Lead negotiation and deal structuring in collaboration with legal and finance teams
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform growth strategies
  • Oversee post-merger integration and implementation of strategic initiatives
  • Provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
  • Manage and mentor corporate development team members
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 8–15 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, strategy, or consulting
  • Strong track record in M&A, partnerships, or strategic investments
  • Expertise in financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence
  • Experience managing complex projects and cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of regional and global markets and industry trends
  • Experience in private equity, venture capital, or corporate strategy
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with legal, regulatory, and compliance considerations in corporate transactions
