Role DescriptionWe are seeking a strategic and commercially savvy leader to drive corporate development initiatives in Singapore. In this role, you will oversee mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic investments, supporting the organisation's growth and long-term business objectives.
You will work closely with executive leadership to identify opportunities, evaluate deals, and manage corporate development projects from strategy through execution.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute corporate development strategies aligned with organisational goals
- Identify and evaluate mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships
- Conduct financial analysis, due diligence, and business valuation
- Build business cases, financial models, and scenario analyses to support decision-making
- Lead negotiation and deal structuring in collaboration with legal and finance teams
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform growth strategies
- Oversee post-merger integration and implementation of strategic initiatives
- Provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Manage and mentor corporate development team members
Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8–15 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, strategy, or consulting
- Strong track record in M&A, partnerships, or strategic investments
- Expertise in financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence
- Experience managing complex projects and cross-functional teams
