Head of Core Transformation – Insurance / Reinsurance (Singapore)

A leading insurance platform is seeking a senior transformation leader to drive enterprise-wide core system modernisation. This role will lead the strategy, execution, and governance of major core system replacement or upgrade initiatives across policy administration, claims, and reinsurance platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end core system transformation programmes, including planning, execution, and cutover
• Oversee replacement or major upgrades of policy administration, claims, and reinsurance accounting systems
• Drive data migration strategy and execution, ensuring operational continuity
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to align transformation with commercial objectives
• Govern integration architecture across legacy and hybrid environments
• Manage multi-country or regional deployments where applicable
• Ensure disciplined programme governance, risk management, and executive reporting

Key Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience including good insurance or reinsurance exposure
• Director/Head of IT experience leading enterprise core system transformations
• Strong knowledge of policy, claims, reinsurance, and integration systems
• Experience executing data migration within on-prem or hybrid environments
• Executive presence with strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Composed and decisive during high-pressure system cutovers
• Proven leader driving cross-functional collaboration and delivery
