Job Description

  • Develop and lead the organisation's overall content strategy across digital platforms including website, blog, social media and video.
  • Oversee the editorial calendar and ensure content initiatives align with audience insights, search intent and business objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end content production process, including briefing, creation, optimisation and distribution across relevant channels.
  • Establish and maintain editorial standards, including tone of voice, brand consistency, accuracy, accessibility and SEO best practices.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of content specialists while implementing scalable workflows, templates and quality assurance processes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, development and client-facing teams to deliver integrated digital campaigns.
  • Drive content-led SEO initiatives, including information architecture, keyword strategy, internal linking and content optimisation.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools, translating insights into actionable improvements and experimentation strategies.
  • Manage external vendors, agencies and freelancers where required to support content production and distribution.
  • Report on content performance and strategic initiatives to senior management, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.

The Successful Applicant


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in content strategy, editorial leadership or digital content management, ideally within a digital marketing agency or fast-paced digital environment.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, search intent and content optimisation techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing content teams and managing multi-channel editorial calendars.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, development and client stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high editorial standards.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools, analytics platforms and content management systems is advantageous.
