Head of Compliance

Our client is a fast-growing data center operator in the Asia-Pacific region offering colocation, hyperscale, enterprise, interconnection and managed services.

Their portfolio spans multiple countries including Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan due the expansion as newly created role, they are currently looking for Head of Audit covering across Group entities in Asia to establish and lead the Group's internal audit function. This high-visibility, standalone role reports directly to senior leadership and the Audit Committee.

You will Lead a global compliance program with direct impact at Board level by driving ethics and governance in a fast-growing, mission-critical industry as well as collaborate with senior leaders across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the global compliance team and advise senior leadership and the Board.
• Oversee compliance areas including Code of Conduct, AML/KYC, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, ESG/CSRD, Sanctions, Insider Trading, and Conflicts of Interest.
• Monitor regulatory changes, assess risks, and implement effective compliance programs.
• Develop and enforce global and local compliance policies.
• Drive compliance training, awareness, and investigations where needed.
• Act as primary liaison with regulators, auditors, and external counsel.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in law, Business, or related field (advanced degree/certifications a plus).
• 10+ years of compliance experience, including 35 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of global compliance and regulatory frameworks; data centre industry experience preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• High integrity, proactive mindset, and ability to lead in a complex, fast-growing environment.

You should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with problem-solving skills, Intellectual curiosity, strong professional judgment, work independently and have initiative mindset.
