The Opportunity
As Head of Compliance, you will report directly to the Group General Counsel and lead compliance strategy across the organization's global footprint. This is a critical role for someone who can balance regulatory rigor with commercial pragmatism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute global compliance frameworks that enable business growth while managing regulatory risk
- Lead and develop a team of compliance professionals across Asian markets
- Serve as the primary liaison with regulators, including MAS and other relevant authorities
- Partner with business leaders to provide solutions-oriented compliance guidance
- Oversee licensing, AML/KYC programs, and cross-border regulatory matters
- Drive policy development, risk assessments, and compliance training initiatives
- Support new product launches and market expansion with proactive regulatory advice
What We're Looking For:
- 10+ years of compliance experience, with significant exposure to fintech or digital payments environments
- Proven track record leading compliance functions in regulated financial services businesses
- Deep understanding of MAS regulations and experience managing regulatory relationships
- Strong business partnering skills you should be known as an enabler, not a blocker
- Experience managing cross-border compliance in multiple jurisdictions
- Team leadership experience with the ability to build and mentor high-performing teams
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence
