We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Head of Commercials to lead and accelerate Traveloka's business growth in APAC. This role will own the development and execution of commercial strategies, build strong partnerships, and drive profitability while leading a multifunctional team to deliver market success. Reporting to senior management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Traveloka's competitive position in the region.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the commercial market strategy to drive growth and accelerate Traveloka's business across Singapore, Malaysia, and key regional partners in Southeast Asia
Lead, coach, and develop a multifunctional team responsible for local and regional commercial operations and business expansion
Implement partnership strategies with top-tier and regional partners to enhance productivity and maximize market opportunities, maintaining Traveloka's competitive advantage
Achieve country-level commercial and profitability targets aligned with broader regional business goals
Collaborate closely with senior leadership on strategic planning, business objectives, and comprehensive partnership development
Oversee market research initiatives to identify trends and competitive dynamics in the Singapore market and Southeast Asia to ensure Traveloka's products remain relevant and competitive
Represent Traveloka at relevant industry events to strengthen brand presence and build strategic alliances
Requirements
12+ years of progressive professional experience with demonstrated success in commercial leadership, business development, or general management
Proven track record in leading, coaching, and developing high-impact teams
Strong background in account management, partner development, and commercial strategy, preferably within travel, e-commerce, or related sectors
Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities to effectively convey business proposals and build trusted relationships
Strategic mindset with experience in management consulting highly desirable
MBA or equivalent advanced degree from a reputable institution preferred
