Responsibilities
Business Development & Growth
- Lead sector targeting, pipeline development, and opportunity conversion to achieve growth objectives.
- Identify and secure strategic opportunities using market insights and sector expertise.
- Develop and execute sector strategies in collaboration with operations.
- Drive organic growth by expanding service offerings and increasing share of wallet within key accounts.
- Manage the full business development lifecycle, including proposals, RFP submissions, contract negotiations, and solution implementation.
Strategic Planning & Customer Engagement
- Develop and maintain business plans, reviewing performance and refining strategies regularly.
- Build and manage strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Lead customer engagement, positioning innovative and industry-leading solutions.
- Facilitate account planning with regional and country teams to align on growth strategies.
- Drive contract renewals and commercial negotiations aligned with market dynamics.
- Act as a trusted partner to key accounts, ensuring long-term value and retention.
Account Growth & Collaboration
- Deliver net growth through retention, upselling, and cross-selling initiatives.
- Lead regular customer reviews, including Monthly Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support sales processes, ensuring alignment and timely execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline (MBA is advantageous)
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in logistics, 3PL, or supply chain management
- At least 5 years in a senior commercial leadership role (e.g., Head of BD, Commercial Director, Sales Director) within the logistics / supply chain industry
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Exceptional leadership and management skills
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Strong business acumen
