Job Description

We're partnering with a leading global platform to appoint a Head of Business Development Alternatives, based in Singapore.

This is a senior, revenue-generating role focused on expanding relationships across alternative investment managers, supporting their growth across Asia.

The Opportunity

You will lead business development efforts across alternative asset managersworking with clients spanning private equity, private credit, real assets, and hedge funds.

Operating at a strategic level, you'll engage with senior stakeholders to understand their growth ambitions and deliver solutions that support fund launches, scaling, and ongoing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business across alternative investment managers in APAC
  • Build and manage relationships with GPs, fund sponsors, and key decision-makers
  • Develop a strong pipeline across private markets and hedge fund clients
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver solutions aligned to client growth and operational needs
  • Identify new market opportunities and expand the firm's footprint across the region
  • Represent the business at industry events and within key alternatives networks

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development within alternatives, asset servicing, or adjacent financial services
  • Strong network across alternative asset managers and/or institutional investors
  • Solid understanding of private markets, hedge funds, and fund structures
  • Demonstrated ability to originate and close new business
  • Commercial, strategic, and highly relationship-driven
  • Based in Singapore or open to relocation
