Job Summary
The Head of Baker is responsible for leading all baking operations across the company, ensuring consistent product quality, efficient production, food safety compliance, and continuous product innovation. This role oversees recipe development, production standards, team training, and process optimisation to support business growth and brand excellence.
Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all baking operations to ensure consistent product quality, taste, and presentation.
Develop, standardise, and improve recipes, SOPs, and production processes across outlets.
Manage, train, and mentor the baking team to maintain high skill, hygiene, and safety standards.
Drive product innovation and support new product launches, seasonal items, and promotions.
Control production costs, minimise wastage, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Minimum 5-8 years of professional baking experience.
Strong technical knowledge in breads, pastries, cakes, or specialty bakery products.
Experience in multi-outlet operations is highly preferred.
Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and production controls.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
