Role DescriptionThis role is responsible for leading the organization's automation strategy, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), workflow optimization, and digital process transformation. The Head of Automation drives efficiency, scalability, and operational excellence by implementing automation solutions across business processes. The ideal candidate is strategic, technically proficient, and experienced in process automation and RPA leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the organization's automation and RPA strategy.
- Identify business processes suitable for automation and prioritize initiatives.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of automation solutions.
- Collaborate with business units and IT teams to implement workflow improvements.
- Monitor and evaluate automation performance, ROI, and efficiency gains.
- Establish governance, standards, and best practices for automation initiatives.
- Train and mentor teams on automation tools, processes, and methodologies.
- Stay updated on emerging automation technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in automation strategy, RPA, or process optimization leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) and workflow automation platforms.
- Experience in process analysis, design thinking, and change management.
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive organization-wide automation initiatives.
- Analytical and results-driven mindset with focus on efficiency and scalability.
- Knowledge of emerging digital technologies and AI-based automation is a plus.
