Head of AI ready data & harness

A large, complex enterprise organisation is looking for a senior, hands‑on AI Data Engineering & Harness Engineering Leader

The role owns the strategy, architecture and delivery of reusable enterprise AI‑ready data foundations, semantic knowledge assets, context engineering, retrieval and AI‑data governance for Generative AI and Agentic AI, and it leads a multidisciplinary team spanning data engineering, knowledge engineering, semantic technologies and platform engineering.

Looking for:

▪ Long track record building and scaling enterprise‑grade AI‑ready data platforms supporting GenAI and agent‑based solutions

▪ Experience growing and leading sizeable cross‑functional data, knowledge and platform engineering teams in large organisations

▪ Strong technical judgement on knowledge graphs, semantic modelling, RAG, vector retrieval, context engineering and agent memory design

▪ Has put in place end‑to‑end AI‑data operating model including data product lifecycle, AI data quality, lineage, privacy, governance and Responsible AI

▪ Commercially minded, able to prioritise data‑platform investments by business value and make the case to senior executive leadership
