As part of the AWS Specialist Organization, we're seeking a dynamic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of AWS Accelerated Computing across the ASEAN region. This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and strategic sales leadership, focusing on High-Performance Computing solutions. The ideal candidate should bring strong experience in technology sales, strategic account management, or business development, along with a proven track record in selling GPUs, TPUs, or FPGAs. Success in this role requires strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated leadership ability, experience working effectively across internal and external organizations, and a deep understanding of the ASEAN customer landscape and market dynamics.

Key job responsibilities

  • Spearhead the end-to-end sales and go-to-market strategy for AWS Accelerated Computing in ASEAN
  • Engage with C-level executives in startups, enterprises, and digital native companies to drive adoption
  • Collaborate across AWS teams (Product, Sales, Partner, Operations, Legal) to accelerate computing workload migrations
  • Develop compelling service-specific messaging and collateral
  • Conduct technical briefings and deployments of AWS Accelerated Computing solutions
  • Execute strategic plans to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with key accounts and manage complex contract negotiations
  • Work with AWS APN and Elemental partners to expand the partner ecosystem
  • Analyze sales statistics and pipelines to identify growth opportunities
  • Coach and develop AWS sales and Solutions Architect resources, partners, and consultants

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
  • 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience
  • Experience developing detailed go to market plans
