Job Description

Our client is a well-established Asian-headquartered organisation with a strong global footprint. As part of the continued development of its global HR organisation, the company is seeking an experienced Total Rewards leader to shape and drive the Group's rewards and performance agenda.

This is a strategic and hands-on role with broad Group-level responsibility across compensation, performance management, incentive programmes, executive remuneration, job architecture and rewards governance. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and HR Business Partners across multiple markets, providing expert advice while ensuring consistency, competitiveness and strong governance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the design, governance and implementation of Group-wide compensation, performance management, incentive programmes, executive remuneration, job architecture and related HR policies.
  • Oversee Group-wide performance management, including appraisal, calibration and review processes, ensuring consistency and alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain Group-wide compensation frameworks, salary structures, pay bands and remuneration guidelines.
  • Lead global market benchmarking and remuneration analysis, leveraging external market data to ensure the organisation remains competitive and aligned with its overall rewards philosophy.
  • Serve as a trusted rewards advisor to senior management and HR Business Partners, providing specialist guidance on compensation, benefits, international mobility, performance and other rewards-related matters.
  • Partner with senior leadership on executive remuneration and provide data-driven recommendations to support remuneration decisions and governance.
  • Drive the continuous enhancement and digitalisation of rewards and performance processes, improving operational efficiency, governance and the overall employee experience.

Role requirements

  • At least 15 years of strong Total Rewards experience, with deep expertise across compensation, performance management, incentive design and rewards policy development.
  • Strong knowledge of regional and global remuneration practices, market trends and benchmarking methodologies across multiple countries.
  • Proven experience developing senior executive remuneration recommendations and partnering with Board-level and senior leadership stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated track record in designing and implementing Group-wide rewards and performance frameworks within a complex, diversified or multinational organisation.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A combination of strategic perspective and hands-on execution, with the ability to translate rewards strategy into practical and sustainable solutions.
