Head, EV Charging & Infrastructure

Role Overview

BYD Singapore is seeking an experienced Head, EV Charging & Infrastructure to lead the overall strategy, commercial performance and expansion of our EV charging business in Singapore.

The role will oversee business development, strategic partnerships, network deployment and operational governance, ensuring the charging network delivers strong commercial, operational and customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall strategy, business plan, budget and commercial performance of the EV charging network.
• Drive business development, tariff strategy, key accounts and strategic partnerships.
• Manage relationships with landlords, site owners, utility/service providers, major customers and other key stakeholders.
• Oversee the deployment and expansion of new charging sites, ensuring projects meet agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Monitor key business and network KPIs, including uptime, utilisation, revenue, costs and customer experience.
• Ensure appropriate governance for regulatory compliance, EVCO licensing, safety and operational risks.
• Work closely with HQ and internal teams on product strategy, technology roadmap and network expansion.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, including leadership experience in EV charging, infrastructure, utilities, electrical systems or related industries.
• Strong commercial, business development and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Good understanding of infrastructure deployment, operations and project management.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese to effectively communicate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.
