. Able to cook Asian cusine - work in hot and demanding environment
. Contribute to menu creation
. Manage the train the kitchen brigade effectively to ensure a well-organised and motivated team
. Ensure consistency in quality of dishes at all times
. Ensure resources meet business needs through the effective management of working rotas
. Support brand standards through the training and assessment of your team
. Manage food cost controls to contribute to Food and Beverage revenue
. Knowledge of activities in other departments and implications
. Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and safety standards
Job Requirements
The hiring requirements for this company includes:
1. Candidates must possess 3 to 5 years of managing experience in a kitchen environment.
2. Strong background in creating and innovating for Asian multi-cuisines and flavours, seasonal promotion menus and lunch/dinner specials.
3. Computer literacy as reports are generated using computer and reading/sending emails are required.
4. Strong communication skills to facilitate information between management and staff and / or customers related communications.
5. Good managerial experience for handling chefs, supervisors, part timers where motivation and retention skills are required.
