We're looking for a passionate Head Barista to lead our coffee and matcha program, drive quality, and build a strong bar team.
Role Overview
As Head Barista, you will take ownership of the coffee bar-from daily operations to R&D, menu creation, and team training. You'll ensure consistency, elevate beverage quality, and create drinks that define the Sip Sip experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily barista operations
- Oversee coffee and matcha beverage program
- Dial in espresso and maintain consistency across all shifts
- Create and develop creative coffee and matcha beverages
- Set SOPs for drink preparation and quality control
- Train, mentor, and develop the barista team
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control
- Work closely with management on menu launches and promotions
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of barista experience, with leadership exposure
- Strong in espresso dialing, milk texturing, and latte art
- Experience in matcha and specialty beverage creation
- Passion for quality, creativity, and consistency
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
