Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, skilled Barista to craft specialty coffee and non-alcoholic beverages, deliver exceptional guest service, and maintain high standards of quality and presentation in a fast-paced café environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee and premium non-alcoholic beverages following established recipes to ensure consistent quality
- Calibrate espresso machines and grinders daily to optimize extraction and beverage consistency
- Create visually appealing latte art and maintain excellence in taste, temperature, texture, and presentation
- Deliver warm, professional, and attentive service to guests, confidently recommending beverages and sharing product knowledge
- Handle customer inquiries and feedback positively to enhance guest satisfaction
- Build rapport with regular customers to contribute to a welcoming café atmosphere
- Follow accurate opening and closing procedures and operate POS systems responsibly
- Assist with stock replenishment, monitor ingredient levels, and communicate shortages promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, equipment, counters, and service areas
- Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment
- Work efficiently under pressure with strong attention to detail and consistency
- Collaborate effectively within a team and work independently as needed
- Maintain flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
Required competencies and certifications
- Food Safety Certification (mandatory)
