Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily bakery production, including preparation and baking of breads, pastries, and other baked goods
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all products
  • Plan production schedules and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies
  • Supervise, train, and lead bakery staff to ensure efficient operations
  • Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
  • Monitor kitchen operations to minimise wastage and optimise productivity
  • Develop and refine recipes, and contribute to new product innovation
  • Ensure proper maintenance and use of kitchen equipment
  • Work closely with management to meet business and operational goals

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in bakery operations, with supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and production processes
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team
  • Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards in Singapore
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle operational demands
  • Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
