The group develops and integrates the Electrical function of Seagate's storage products. We develop solutions that are advanced, reliable, robust in performance, power efficient and yet cost efficient. We bring the Electrical solution from conceptualization to prototypes, test and verification, ending with the handover to factory mass production.
You will be assisting our Engineers with the testing and validation of our designs, focusing on areas such as DC-DC switching power supplies, high-speed memory interface, high-speed serial interfaces, PCB routing and python programing/script. You will have the opportunity to interact, consult and learn with the team of Electrical Integration Engineers coming from a diverse range of electrical backgrounds, most of them having at least 15 years of experience to share with you.
We are looking for an individual with the following qualities:
Currently pursuing a Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
The Shugart site (named after Seagate's founder, Al Shugart) is a research and design center.
